In the spring of 1988, one of Lorain County's oldest and finest funeral homes, Curtis-Scheuffler, joined Busch Funeral and Crematory Services. This Funeral Home location was established in 1852 and is located in the heart of downtown Elyria. It is under the careful direction of the Busch Family, Jeff Hogan, and his staff. The Funeral Home continues to exemplify the high standard of caring tradition families have come to rely on throughout generations.
Over ninety nine years of strong, enduring achievement has made the Busch Family a prime example of Northeast Ohio's area's family-business traditions. This foundation of professional quality and experience has been a benchmark through generations from Gustav H. Busch to J. Milton Busch to John M. Busch to his two sons, J. Mark and James H. Busch. DIRECTIONS: I-90 West
I-90 West to Elyria/Lorain (Route57) exit. Proceed on Route 57 South past Midway Mall on the left. Go to the 4th traffic light and turn left (Lake Avenue) to the 3rd traffic light and turn right (West Avenue). Proceed on West Avenue to the 3rd traffic light and turn left on to Third Street. Third Street will dead end into East Avenue. Turn left on to East Avenue (one block) and turn right on to Second Street. The funeral home is 1/2 block on the right.
DIRECTIONS: I-480
I-480 to the turnpike (Route 10) split. Proceed on Route 10 bearing to the left the sign reads Norwalk Route 10 to the Route 57 Elyria exit. It will be on your right. Proceed to the 2nd traffic light (Broad Street) and turn left (Nick Abraham Buick dealership is on the right side). Take Broad Street past Elyria Hospital, cross over the bridge to the 2nd traffic light and turn left (the road bends to the right). The funeral home is on the left side of the bend.
DIRECTIONS: I-80 Westbound - Exit 145
I-80 West to Exit 145 follow the Elyria/Lorain (Route57) exit. Proceed on Route 57 South past Midway Mall on the left. Go to the 4th traffic light and turn left (Lake Avenue) to the 3rd traffic light and turn right (West Avenue). Proceed on West Avenue to the 3rd traffic light and turn left on to Third Street. Merges with Route 2. Follow the Elyria/Lorain (Route 57) exit. Proceed on Route 57 South past Midway Mall on the left. Go to the 4th traffic light and turn left (Lake Avenue) to the 3rd traffic light and turn right (West Avenue). Proceed on West Avenue to the 3rd traffic light and turn left on to Third Street.
