Busch Certified Funeral Celebrants are specifically trained to design and conduct a personalized Life Tribute that honors your beliefs and the legacy of your loved one. After establishing the mutually agreed upon time and place for the service with a funeral director our celebrant will meet with family members, record stories, and discuss the elements you wish to include in the service.
Having a celebrant service:
•Helps us to acknowledge that someone we love has died.
•Allows us to say goodbye with a meaningful, personalized tribute.
•Begins the process of healing our grief together: friends, family, and community.
•Allows us to reflect on the meaning of life and death.
•Offer continuity and hope for the living.
Families have been extremely pleased with choosing from the following options: "Certified Busch Celebrant Service" begins with a family meeting in the days before the service to record stories and design the service to be held. Your participation in the meeting with the Celebrant is very important as it ensures your wishes are carried out in deeply meaningful tribute.
During these meetings we will discuss your loved one's:
•Childhood, education, stories
•Hobbies, interests, values, and accomplishments
•Family traditions, travels, and activities
•Significant readings, verses, poems, scriptures
•Favorite music genres, songs, books, shows
Your input is incorporated into every aspect of the service and allows the Celebrant to design and conduct a personalized tribute and committal that honors your loved one and reflects your beliefs.
The "Committal Service" (graveside or mausoleum) includes the Family Meeting with our Celebrant to discuss participants, appropriate readings, scripture, prayers, music or other elements to be included included in the final farewell. The service is designed to honor your loved one's legacy as well as your beliefs and is conducted at the cemetery, mausoleum or scattering location.

The following is an excerpt from a letter written by one of the families we served, who selected a celebrant to conduct their funeral service...
"Dear Connie (That would be Connie Smith one our Busch certified celebrants) I'm sure you've heard it before, but all of our family and friends were very very impressed with the way you told my Dad's story. It was beautiful and moving and right on target. Thank you so much for the work you put into it and for being an important part of our final celebration for Dad. My Mom, Dave and I are so happy about the way everything came together, considering that just one day before we met you, there was no plan at all. Your coworkers at Busch were wonderful in every way, we couldn't have asked for better, and I'm sure that Dad must have felt very pleased as he watched each step unfold. Thanks to you and all our family and friends, I really felt Dad was there with us. I neglected at the time to comment on the Life's Puzzle poem and the distribution of the puzzle pieces. I'm willing to bet that never happened at a funeral before. Now that my puzzle piece is here in my home, it's no longer a puzzle piece -- it's Dad. Thank you again, Connie, for all you did for us. It was a beautiful way to see Dad off on his journey, and I very much appreciate all your support and comfort. We all do." Sandy Perozeni
“Just want you to know that my family and coworkers will always appreciate the “celebration” of my daughter Jessica’s life you so ably presided over (my wife Carol’s too). It made a difficult time easier for all of us.” Roger Creps - Services conducted by Cathy Nichols, Busch Certified Celebrant.
