In the fall of 1986, the Burmeister Funeral Homes, with a heritage of 50 years and locations in Avon and Avon Lake, became a part of the Busch Funeral and Crematory Services. Both Funeral Home locations are under the careful direction of the Busch Family, William Burmeister and his staff. The Funeral Home continues to exemplify the high standard of caring tradition families have come to rely on throughout generations.

Over a century of strong, enduring achievement has made the Busch Family a prime example of Northeast Ohio's area's family-business traditions. This foundation of professional quality and experience has been a benchmark through generations from Gustav H. Busch to J. Milton Busch to John M. Busch to his two sons, J. Mark and James H. Busch. Currently, Jim and Mark Busch provide the daily leadership of Busch Funeral and Crematory Services.

I-90 West to Route 83 exit. Turn right on Route 83 (North) past railroad tracks. The funeral home is on the right corner of Route 83 and Electric Boulevard. It is next to Avon Lake High School and one block South of Lake Erie.

DIRECTIONS: I-77
I-71 North Akron Canton to I-490 West to I-90 West. I-90 West to Route 83 exit. Turn right on Route 83 (North) past railroad tracks. The funeral home is on the right corner of Route 83 and Electric Boulevard. It is next to Avon Lake High School and one block south of Lake Erie.

DIRECTIONS: Route 2 East or Turnpike (Exit 142)
East to Route 83 exit. Turn left on Route 83 (North). The funeral home is on the right corner of Route 83 and Electric Boulevard. It is next to Avon Lake High School and one block South of Lake Erie.

DIRECTIONS: I-80 (Turnpike) Westbound
When leaving the toll booth take Route 10 West to Route 83 and turn right. Proceed on Route 83 North through North Ridgeville and Avon, crossing over the I-90 overpass. The funeral home is on the right corner of 83 and Electric Boulevard, one block South of Lake Erie.

DIRECTIONS: I-480
I-480 to Clague Road exit and turn right. Proceed North crossing over Route 10 (Lorain Road), Route 20 (Center Ridge Road), Route 254 (Detroit Road) and go over the I-90 overpass. Turn left on Lake Road (Route6) where Clague Road ends. Follow Lake Road West through Bay Village and turn left at Route 83 in Avon Lake by City Bank and Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. Turn left at the first intersection. The Funeral Home is on the Southeast corner of Route 83 and Electric Boulevard.

DIRECTIONS: I-71 North
I-71 North to Route 83 exit and turn left. Proceed North through Lodi to Avon Lake. Go past I-90 overpass. The Funeral Home is on the Southeast corner of Route 83 and Electric Boulevard.
