3rd Annual Treasures of Cleveland at the Museum of Contemporary Art

16 Oct 2012
art, community, Treasures
by Busch Funeral and Crematory Services

Busch Funeral and Crematory Services, manager Robert Solich board member and co-chair, along with Busch associates supported and sponsored the Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio at its 3rd Annual Treasures of Cleveland at the Museum of Contemporary Art. The Annual Treasures of Cleveland event celebrates the people and places that make Cleveland special and was the first public event held at MOCA this year.

The event featured Honorary Chair Dick Feagler as he reflected on his favorite life lessons and experiences. Dick is a newspaper columnist, playwright and television personality from here in Cleveland Ohio. After attending Ohio University he began his career in journalism in 1963, writing obituaries for the Cleveland Press. In 1970 Feagler started a regular feature column and continued until 1982. Feagler continued to write his column for numerous Ohio newspapers. Many of Feagler’s favorite columns have been published as collections. He is currently the host of Feagler & Friends, a weekly half-hour discussion program on WVIZ. The event benefitted the Visiting nurse Association of Ohio to assist in their mission to provide compassionate, innovative and effective community-based home healthcare that promotes the health, independence and dignity of those we serve throughout Northeast and Central Ohio.
